The Nyirád Racing Center is one of the most traditional tracks with the longest history in Europe.

Competitors have been calling it one of the best not only on the continent, but also in the world for decades. The track has unique features in Central-Eastern Europe. It is located in a pit, which results in a large difference in level, but it is not only this that represents the serious challenge for the pilots, but also the ratio of the technical turns and the gravel surface to the asphalt. Nyirádi is one of the earliest built tracks in the country, it hosted a championship race for the first time in 1988, and in 2006, the rallycross and autocross European championship races were held for the first time. Due to the red bauxite covering the gravel parts, the track, also called "Red Katlan", has been a defining part of international and domestic motorsport for 36 years now.
