Zoltán Held celebrates his 50th birthday on Thursday of race week, and openly treated himself to a debut in the FIA Rallycross European Championship for this occasion. Surely, his motivation was also fueled by winning a support race of the European Championship round last year. He had previously tested one of the Audi S1s built by Kárai Motorsport in a Hungarian championship race, which spurred them to build a Škoda Fabia for him to compete in the Euro RX1 field.
