Flavio Martins' career is inseparable from that of his brother, Paolo Martins, as both made their debut this year in the RX5 category of the FIA European Rallycross Championship. Their debut in the continental championship coincided with the 25th anniversary of their family team, Martins XC Team. Flavio performed better in the Latvian season opener and currently sits in tenth place in the points standings.
