During the opening weekend in Riga, he proved he is a force to be reckoned with among the title contenders for the RX5 category. Martin Juga is a talented Estonian racing driver who performed excellently last year in the Scandinavia-focused RallyX series. He finished second at the season opener in Montalegre, and his name could also be found in the RX2e series. At the Latvian round of the FIA European Rallycross Championship, he dominated the field, winning all qualifying heats and the semi-final. However, victory was snatched from him in the final, and he ultimately stood on the bottom step of the podium in third place.
