He started racing relatively late, only in his thirties, first in cross-country rally and then in rally events. Anthony Pelfrene debuted in rallycross in 2021, and two years later competed in the Supercar category of the French championship, finishing third in his debut year. He made his debut in the FIA European Rallycross Championship in 2021 on his home track in Lohéac and returned to the field two years later in Montalegre. This year, he debuts in the World Championship behind the wheel of a sustainable fuel-powered Peugeot 208 WRX.
