One of the Sousa brothers, he is the champion of the S1600 category in the 2020 Portuguese Rallycross Championship and is less known on the international stage than his brother, André. However, he is following his brother's example by competing for a full season in the FIA European Rallycross Championship this year. Last year, he competed in the Portuguese round where he reached the final along with his brother; moreover, he finished in fourth position, just ahead of André. So far this season, he has yet to make it to a final, finishing ninth in Lousada and only tenth in Höljes, placing him ninth in the overall standings.
