Libor Teješ
Like many drivers, Libor Teješ began his career in autocross before switching to rallycross. In 2019, he claimed the Czech national championship title in the National 1600 category, before moving up to the Super1600 class with a newly built Audi A1. Having visited Nyirád multiple times before, he first marveled at the battles between Petter Solberg and Kenneth Hansen as a fan, and by 2024, he could experience the incomparable atmosphere of the Nyirád track as a competitor. He finished eighth at the European Championship round in Hungary and reached the final in Belgium, crossing the line in sixth place. He concluded that championship in ninth position overall - as the highest-placed part-time driver - and improved on this last year by finishing eighth.
