Libor Teješ
Libor Teješ - like many drivers - began his career in autocross before switching to rallycross. He won the Czech championship title in the National 1600 category in 2019, then moved up to the Super1600 division with a newly built Audi A1. He had visited Nyirád several times before, first as a fan marveling at the duels between Petter Solberg and Kenneth Hansen. Last year he experienced the unparalleled atmosphere of the Nyirád track as a competitor. He finished eighth in the European Championship race at Nyirád and also made it to the final in Belgium, where he finished sixth. He concluded the championship in ninth position as the best driver not completing a full season.
