In 2023, he debuted in the FIA European Rallycross Championship with a third-place finish on his home turf at Nyirád. Some attributed the podium to a one-time flash of brilliance and local knowledge, but Balázs Körmöczi proved the doubters wrong. As a rookie in the Euro RX3 standings, he finished seventh that year with an upgraded version of Dominik Senegacnik's former Volkswagen Polo. Last year, the driver, who comes from a racing family, was under increased scrutiny. Accordingly, he reached the final in Höljes but did not make the podium, just as at Nyirád and Belgium. He then compensated with a third-place finish in the final race in Portugal and ended the season in sixth place overall as the top Hungarian driver. He did not start the current season very brightly, finishing seventh in Portugal and only eighth in Sweden, placing him seventh in the championship.
