The 20-year-old Swedish driver, regarded as one of rallycross’ brightest young talents, began his career in karting. Thanks to his karting background, Casper Jansson is known for an exceptionally clean driving style. He won championships in the Supercar Lites category on both sides of the Atlantic, and last year claimed the inaugural RallyX FC2 title. This season he is focusing on two programmes: a full Euro RX1 campaign with a Peugeot 208 WRX Supercar built by Hansen Motorsport, while also defending his RallyX title. In the latter, the season started difficultly due to bad luck and technical problems with the newly developed FC2 car, but he has since returned to winning form. Meanwhile, at the opening FIA European Rallycross Championship round in Latvia, he reached the semi-finals in an extremely competitive field.
