Euro RX1

April 14, 1974

Figuratively speaking, he is an “old engine” in rallycross, having already become European Champion 26 years ago in Division2 with a Peugeot 306 S16. After Jean Luc Pailler, he became only the second French driver to secure a continental title in the discipline. In the top rallycross category, however, he had to wait until last July for his breakthrough, when he achieved his first Supercar victory during the fourth round of the French Championship in Pont-de-Ruan.
