Last year he achieved a historic milestone at Nyirád by becoming the first Hungarian race winner in Euro RX1. Koncseg Zoltán’s 2022 European Championship debut at Nyirád may have been forgettable, but it did not discourage him. In 2023 he completed a full season, finishing 11th overall and even reaching the final in Belgium. The Orosháza-based driver started the 2024 season strongly, reaching the final and finishing fourth in the opening Höljes round with Kárai Tamás’s former car. Although he could not repeat that success later in the year, he still finished as the top Hungarian in sixth place overall. The former BMW “bad boy” permanently etched his name into Hungarian rallycross history with last year’s Nyirád victory.
