The Euro RX3 2023 champion came to Euro RX1 last year with the hope that, having gained experience, he could eventually fight for victory with his rivals in this category. He must adjust to his car's increase in power, from 220 horsepower to 600 horsepower, and torque rising from 190 Nm to 900 Nm. Last year's debut in Höljes went well, after finishing third, but in the sequel he was unable to get on the podium once, and was two points behind the end-of-year podium. He started this season with second place in Portugal, but in Sweden he just missed the podium, so he awaits the race at Nyirád in third place overall, four points behind second-place Liimatainen.
