The surprise of last year's opening round was the Finnish driver, who finished second in Höljes, and thus took this position in the overall standings after two rounds. The Finnish driver's performance then declined, and he finished in fifth place overall. However, he started this season very steadily, as he was able to stand on the third step of the podium in both Portugal and Sweden, and he awaits the race at Nyirád from second place in the overall standings.
