The most active female driver in the discipline, Mandie August has been an almost permanent fixture in the FIA European Rallycross Championship since 2008. In fact, in 2020 she became only the second woman ever to compete in a World RX event. She enjoyed the Barcelona event so much that she returned to the Catalan circuit for the World Championship opener the following year, reaching the semi-finals twice out of four appearances and finishing 14th overall. Last season she entered only three races and finished 17th in the Euro RX1 standings.
