The young Norwegian talent made his Euro RX1 debut in 2021 with Marklund Motorsport's Volkswagen Polo and was immediately named Rookie of the Year at the end of the year. In 2022, Sivert Svardal was only 7 points short of third place in the overall standings, but last year - apart from his home victory in Hell - he was unable to produce an outstanding result and finished only seventh in the points race.
