One of the FIA European Rallycross Championship’s newcomers achieved his first major success in 2023 when he finished runner-up in the Norwegian junior championship driving a Honda Civic. Johannes Rafoss had to wait two years to achieve one of his main goals, finally winning the junior title last year. Towards the end of last season, the teenage driver also made his Supercar debut. This year he competes in the world-class Euro RX1 field driving the Ford Fiesta of his stepfather, former TouringCar and Euro RX driver David Nordgård. At the Riga season opener, he attracted attention with both impressive pace and a major crash.
